Reservation Policy

  • We open for the season in May and close for the winter in mid October

  • Spring and Fall Season: minimum 2 night bookings, minimum 3 night bookings required for long weekends

  • Preference will be given to weekly bookings during prime season (July-August)

  • 50% deposit required at time of booking, remaining balance to be paid upon arrival

  • Check in is from 4-6pm on day of arrival. If you cannot check in by 6pm, please contact the resort to make other arrangements. Check out is prior to 11am on day of departure

  • All of our accommodations are non-smoking. No smoking is allowed in the pool courtyard. 

  • As of 2021, the Mooswa Resort is Pet Free. No pets are allowed on the resort.

  • The Mooswa Resort is a family oriented Resort. Quiet times are enforced  between 11:00 pm and 8:00 am.

  • Renters will cover repair or replacement costs of any damage incurred by them or their guests during their stay.

  • Please  report spills and accidents to management as soon as possible so cleaning and repair can take place in a timely manner.

  • The Mooswa Resort is not responsible for any lost or stolen articles, or for any injuries incurred through carelessness on the property.

  • The pool is available for registered guests only. We ask guests to provide their own pool towels. Pool hours are from 10:00 am to 9:00 pm daily.

  • Please wash all dishes, ensure all supplies are back in your room, and take out garbage & recycling prior to checkout - $75.00 additional fee, if not observed. Garbage dumpsters are located beside the resort on Mooswa Dr. and recycling drop off located at end of Ta-Wa-Pit Drive.

Cancellation Policy

  • Due to our short operating season, we require 30 days notice to cancel a reservation.

  • Less than 30 days notice will result in a full forfeiture of your deposit

  • All cancellations are subject to a $75 cancellation fee

  • Guests are responsible for the original length of their booking. Late arrivals or early departures will be charged for the entire reservation.

Guest Amenities

  • All units include bedding, 6-8 ( depending on size) bath and hand towels, washcloths, 2 tea towels and a dishcloth. We provide liquid dish and dishwasher detergent, soap, shampoo, conditioner and a blow dryer.

  • Each unit has its own patio set, propane BBQ, and satellite tv. Internet service is poor so only limited wifi is available.

  • In an effort to be more environmentally friendly, we will not be doing daily towel service. Instead, we will do a cabin check midweek to replace towels, if needed. We encourage you to hang up your towels to reduce the amount of water and detergent needed to clean towels daily.

  • If needed, towels can be exchanged at the office between 10:00am - 11:30 am, or 1:00pm - 4:00 pm daily

  • All of our units have fully-stocked kitchens including: full-size range, microwave, fridge, dishwasher, toaster, pots, frying pans, dishes, cutlery, utensils,10-Cup drip coffee maker, kettle, teapot, salt, pepper, sugar, a small jar of coffee for your first few pots.

  • Window air conditioners are installed in each unit to help keep you cool during our hot summer months

  • All units have fire pits, except our south facing suites (Willow, Maple & Ash) There is an additional fire pit for these units by the playground.

  • Heated outdoor pool will be open for guest use starting mid June and closing mid September (weather permitting). 

  • Kids playground conveniently located in courtyard area.
